The Acura RSX Type-S is an exceptional car with a difficult job – to fill the shoes of the respected Integra which it replaced in July 2001.

Upon its release, after-market suppliers began the frantic development and production of parts and accessories to allow owners to customise their vehicles.

2011 Acura RDX SUV Reviews

Acura RDX
Acura RDX
When it was introduced for model year 2007, the Acura RDX was the first turbocharged Honda car and one of the first compact luxury crossovers with an emphasis performance. Although not much has changed since then, and does not fully function in a series of competing models, but still offers the satisfaction of the director with a sense of agility, steering response.

The Acura RDX brings in 2011 with his style and the details essentially unchanged, and thats not bad at all. The RDX is now available from the United Nations of the United States for four years and only has a few updates along the way, last year, but still manages to cool.

RDX interior is a bit quiet compared to what is found in the new competitors, but we still think that most buyers will be satisfied with the environment of the RDX. Quality of materials is adequate, but there is a little too hard plastic over their competitors. A central compartment deep storage between the front seats can have a briefcase or laptop bag.

The 2011 RDX is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder 240 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque produced. A five-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is standard, but there is a choice between the standard unit of the front wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Dubbed SH-AWD, which not only distributes power between front and rear, as is typical, but also between the left and right wheels ensure optimum traction in all conditions.

The Acura RDX comes standard with ABS brakes (with brake assist), stability and traction control for side airbags, curtain airbags and active front headrests. A rearview camera is optional. In Edmunds brake testing, RDX FWD stopped at 60 mph in a reasonable distance of 125 meters.

The list of standard safety features provides peace of mind. Traction and stability control anti-ABS, active headrests, side and curtain airbags and a rearview camera is standard.

So as you can see, the 2011 Acura RDX is worth considering, and new competitors like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLK and Volvo XC60. Each has its own advantages, however, Volvo, in particular, are the best choice for families. They also enjoy the designs perhaps more pressing than in the luxury segment means a lot. Unfortunately for the RDX, an evil robot chicken is not only the most premium visual effects.
